Equipamientos Marroquinería sells all the products that manufacturers of leather goods might need, from machines to all the raw materials they use. In this sense, the company from Elche exclusively distributes the Italian firm Omac’s machines for Spain and South America, of which it has recently presented various new models on the market:
The model 450-SAT is a programmable automatic machine, with a suction feed system, takes the leather look of the wallets, places it on a conveyor belt and glues it (by water-based ecological glue guns); then it takes the smooth lining and places it in its position on the previously glued leather piece. The conveyor belt automatically transports to the next step, which is that of folding the leather heat marking the line; it then passes along a heated belt that reactivates the glue and then applies pressure to finish the piece, which comes out for the operator to pick up and pass it on to other jobs. This whole process is carries out as a continuous automatic cycle until the pieces in the loader are exhausted and a warning indicated that the machine has finished the process.
The model CM-1 is a dyeing gun machine, especially intended for fine leather items with narrow angles and irregular shapes. This machine is prepared to place up to 150 joined pieces that, pressed by a pneumatic piston with supports in the same shape as the pieces, will begin spinning at a pre-programmed speed and the gun will apply the water-based dye to the edges, moving itself from right to left to apply the whole area and also, at the same time up and down, to apply the dye always at the same distance from the leather, so that the whole surface is evenly dyed.
The pieces rotate clockwise a programmed number of times and then the same number of times anticlockwise. Once the dying process is finished, it passes on automatically to an internal drying oven for the pieces to be manhandled on leaving the machine. All the times and speeds are easily programmable by the operator by means of a computer program.Meanwhile, the model GF is a system for drying pieces, either glued or dyed, so that by means of a conveyor belt the pieces worked on are placed on some metal trays that pass through a drying oven and return to the initial position, so that the worker can take them away or work on them for a second or third operation, returning them to be placed in the oven and repeating the process as many times as necessary.
Finally, it can be mentioned that the firm Equipamientos Marroquinería is preparing, ready for the forthcoming month of June, the fourth edition of the exhibition of equipment and machinery for leather goods manufacturing. The exhibition will be held once again at the Elche Convention Center, where it will show the aforementioned machines, along with other machines for manufacturing belts, bags and small leather goods, especially glueing and finishing of edges.
